Commisioner,
I know that Jeremy was given a paper to why he wasn't eligible for parole. This paper doesn't explain any of my questions that I had asked in the previous e-mail. I would like to set up a meeting with you and my family to go over these questions. If this e-mail is a way of avoiding my questions then I will continue talking with the media. You over turned a judgement that Wells had made when we met with him and didn't give any reason to why. People were sent to inspect the house to which my brother had filed as his place to parole out to. Why send people to approve this and then not grant parole. At the parole hearing Jeremy was told that he has only served 7 years on his 15 year sentence, but his Mandatory Release is scheduled for 2010. So how can this be? I'm not the best at math but 2010 is not 8 years away! I think these are all reasonable questions which only you are able to answer. My family and I are willing to do whatever it takes to help my brother get his life back together. Over the years he has shown to us that he can be and will be a productive member of society. With him trying so hard to prove himself to everyone. This is the only reason you are hearing from me. I would not be willing to help him if I myself did not think he deserves another chance and that he is ready. My brother has shown patience, remorse and most of all maturity! These were all key factors in why he was sent to prison! The longer Jeremy is in prison I worry that the harder its going to be for him to get on his feet. Everyday is a struggle for people that have already been trying to make a decent living. He has to start from the beginning! I wish you could put yourself in our shoes it hurts to see someone you love try so hard at something and only get denied at the end of it. Wouldn't you like answers to which someone you loved was denied knowing that they have put so much effort into it? I look forward to our meeting and hope that you can answer my questions.
Thank You,
(Brother of an Inmate)
